Our Story

We never planned to start a syrup company.

A few years ago, while building our own food brands, we were constantly looking for syrups we could proudly serve to our customers. We tried countless products from different suppliers, but we kept running into the same problem. Many tasted overly sweet, relied heavily on artificial ingredients, or simply didn't taste like the fruit they were supposed to represent.

We wanted something better.

Not because we were trying to enter the syrup business, but because we wanted to serve drinks that reflected the same standards we held for our food.

So we started developing our own recipes.

We focused on real fruit, lower sugar, and ingredients we felt good about serving to our own families. What started as an internal project for our stores slowly became something our customers, café owners, and restaurant partners began asking about.

The name Umma's Recipe comes from the Korean word Umma, which means mom.

To us, there is no higher standard than something a mother would proudly serve her family. That idea continues to guide every decision we make, from ingredient selection to product development.

Today, Umma's Recipe is used by cafés, restaurants, and chefs who believe that great drinks start with great ingredients.

Our goal has never been to make just another syrup.

We simply want to create products that taste honest, natural, and true to the fruit they come from.
